1. Alan did my survey for a 19′ Used Bayliner. I told him I first time boat owner and he spent lots of time with me, explaining everything and answering every question I had. He was wonderful with follow up questions as well. His report was available the next day and extremely thorough. I trust Alan to give me an honest assessment and recommendation. Thank you, Alan!

2. Alan, has done for me a pre purchase survey on my 2003 Bayliner 2859 for lake Simcoe/Canada.

   His survey was very accourate and I got much more information, as from other surveyors in years before. Alan is very reliable and I like how he act. He make clear recommondations and even saves you money. He is polite and honest and really takes time for you to talk. Even it is only a small boat. On of the best service I ever got in US.
   I´m very happy with his work and recommend Alan as Surveyor to anybody who will buy a boat in this area.

3. Alan surveyed a 2011 Boston Whaler 250 Outrage for me. He was extremely thorough and did a great job, it enabled me to get the issues addressed before purchase. Especially helpful as I was purchasing from out of state and was not able to be there for survey.

First of all after 21 years in business you deserve Sundays off ~ you agreed to come out on a Sunday after our Kent Island Surveyor decided that our 20 foot boat wasn’t worth his money I guess. You treated us with the upmost respect and took so much time to explain and answer all our questions. You were detailed and did not rush through the process. You treated us as if we were purchasing that 40 foot yacht! Thanks again for your professionalism. Alan may be a few dollars higher than one or two others but its so worth it, you get what you pay for! This is a true investment and I feel we got the best surveyor out there. Alan welcomed us to call him in the future if we need anything. I will be using him in the future if and when we purchase our next boat!!!

11. This is our very first boat. It’s small, used ( 18′ Regal Bowrider) and soon to be all ours! Since we were looking to start with something used we wanted to make sure we weren’t getting a piece of junk and we wanted a base line of what needed to be done and what didn’t. WOW did Alan do that! He’s thorough on the survey, He’s patient and incredibly helpful on explaining things and gave us a great education… BUT most importantly, we have piece of mind that our first little boat is good to go! We’re picking it up tomorrow at Noon and I can’t be more excited!

13. Alan recently surveyed a Sea Ray 220 that, following the survey, my son and I purchased. His survey was conducted very professionally and thoroughly. The report was also very detailed. He was very informative about all aspects and provided a fair perspective based on the age and condition of the boat. He was also receptive to and encouraged all questions during the sea trial in which he participated. From our experience I would recommend his services for anyone considering a pre-purchase survey.

15. Alan came out to do a pre-purchase inspection for us at Maryland Marina. He was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and kind. He tested out every system and documented his findings in a very thorough 18 page report. I enjoyed spending the afternoon with Alan talking boats, watching WWII air planes, and sea trialing the prospective rig. After the inspection concluded he gave the boat a clean bill of health noting some maintenance items. Alan can teach you more about boats in a few hours then you could teach your self in years.
